OPEN FOR CHRISTMAS!
Hi everybody!

We're open for the Christmas season.

We have cut Frazier fir trees (7'-8'), wreaths, Christmas cactus, and poinsettias. We also have plantable Fat Albert Colorado blue spruce and dwarf Alberta spruce trees.

On November 30 and December 7, we'll host our second annual Holiday Markets. We have some of the same craftspeople we had last year, plus lots of new folks. And we'll have coffee and hot chocolate both days.

Hope to see you soon.

Let's Grow Together.
Growing beautiful plants that bring joy to the people in our community is what we love to do. Most of what we sell, we grow—either from seeds or from tiny plugs. We catch the rainwater on our property and use it to water our plants. No chlorine, fluoride, or other chemicals added. We do not allow genetically modified seeds or young vegetable plants in our nursery. And we don’t use chemical pesticides—only biological solutions (and they work well). These things matter to us; they’re non-negotiable; and they will never change.

Our core growing principles not only assure that what you take home with you is safe for your family and your pets, but they also produce the most beautiful plants in middle Tennessee. Vanleer isn’t exactly on your way to the grocery store (well, not for most of you anyway), so we need to give you a reason to shop here. We’re willing to bet that if you take the time to give us a try, you’ll be back. And you can be sure we’ll do everything in our power to make sure you are.

We are grateful to each of our customers for going out of their way to come to Country Gardens Greenhouse. And we’d love to add you to that list.

Seasons
Winter
It's cold outside, but we're busy inside. We start germinating tomato seeds and transplanting baby plants in early February, and begin to fill up our greenhouses with growing plants in anticipation of opening in mid-March.

Spring
Our specialty is the spring season. Our greenhouses are packed with an array of beautiful annuals, perennials, and garden vegetables. And outside we have berry bushes, shrubs, tropical plants, and trees. We’re officially open this year from March 15 through early June. And if you want to come see what’s growing outside those times, we’ll always stop what we’re doing to have a chat and show you around. We’re open until 6:00 most evenings, and we're also open Sundays. We hope that will make it a bit easier for you to work us in around your busy schedules.
Fall
Our beautiful mums begin blooming in September. We’re open through the end of October, so you can come browse all the colors and varieties. And while you’re here, pick up a few pumpkins, pansies, and Indian corn. Plus whatever other autumn-y stuff we have for you.
